Endurance events demand that the athlete utilize every possible competitive advantage. This plan is targeted for serious athletes who currently have a training plan they would like to see moved from good to great.
After having you complete a training questionnaire (which will give me a look at your current fitness level and goals for the upcoming season), I will assess your training plan and provide you with my professional opinion. With your input, I will make the necessary adjustments to make your plan the best training program for your needs.
The key to improving fitness is knowing what your current level of fitness is and how proper training will affect it over time. All MFIT athletes perform some form of initial testing to determine their current fitness level. Once test results are received, the data will be used to establish the correct heart rate, power or pace ranges for the training program. Along with the bike testing, you will receive a 4-week training plan to get your training program started in the right direction. All bike testing will be done utilizing the computrainer.
