AUSTIN 70.3!!

This Sunday October 23rd, MFIT athletes Jenny Ecord, Jeff Davis, Jan Gutschenritter, Michael Manley and Vickie Tucker will all participate at the 2011 Austin 70.3 race in Austin, TX.   The course includes a one-loop freshwater swim in Decker Lake, a  one-loop bike ride through rolling Texas farmland, sprawling ranches, cedar-covered vistas and sunflower fields followed by a run  through Walter E. Great weekend for MFIT Athletes

Congratulations to all MFIT athletes who participated in races this past weekend.  First off on Saturday morning was Jon Evraets who participated and was the overall champion at the Willow Lake Triathlon in Enid, OK.  On Sunday morning at the the Derby Rock and Route sprint triathlon, congratulations to Shawn Stafford (2nd Overall, 1st – M25-29), Michael Manley (2nd M25-29), Audrey Donovan (2nd Overall, 1st – F25-29), Shauna Yelverton (1st F40-44), Melissa Spottedhorse (2nd F40-44), Wayne Stout (2nd M50-54), Jan Gutschenritter (1st F50-54), and Vickie Tucker (2nd F50-54).  Results can be found at:   www.onlineraceresults.com/event/view_event.php?event_id=7101.  Last but not least was Luther Ottaway who participated at the Boulder 70.3 race in Boulder, CO.  Great job everyone!!! … Read entire article »
