MFIT athletes had an incredible day in Lawrence, KS at the Kansas 70.3 race! Alcatraz, El-Reno and River Run
Congratulations to MFIT athlete Tim Sturm for completing the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco, CA. Another Great Race Weekend!
Congratulations to all MFIT athletes who competed in races this past weekend. Of the 14 athletes who started a race this weekend, there were 10 personal best or first time efforts! Those who established a personal best at the Kansas City Triathlon included: Grant, Karen, Luther, Julie, Jenny, Jim and Tanya! Those who raced a new distance included: Andy G (KC Olympic)., Jill (KC Olympic) and Dan (Ironman Texas). Other MFIT athletes who competed in Kansas City included Chrissy (3rd- F40-44), Jim, Raymond and Audrey; 2nd Overall Female in the sprint race! Texasman X50 / NW YMCA Triathlon Results
Another big weekend for MFIT athletes at the Texasman X50 race in Valley View, Texas as well as the NW YMCA Inside/Out sprint triathlon in Wichita. There were 4 MFIT athletes at the Texasman race which included a 1 mile swim, 40 mile bike and a 9 mile run. Easter Sun Run and Garnett Duathlon
This past Easter weekend saw several MFIT athletes participate in the annual Easter Sun Run at Sedgwick County Park as well as one athlete participating in the April Adventure Duathlon in Garnett, KS. Olathe, Emporia, & Boston!
This past weekend was a busy one for MFIT athletes as the tri season kicked off at the Spring Migration Sprint triathlon in Emporia on Sunday April 17th. But first, MFIT athlete Luther Ottaway set his new ½ marathon PR (1:36:46) and took 6th place out of 54 in the M35-39 age group at the OZ Marathon in Olathe on Saturday April 16th.
